NLIU Bhopal Ragging:
In case you think that ragging is the best way to break ice between juniors and seniors, think again.
Two students of National Law Institute University, Bhopal have filed complaints with the University Grants Commission’s Anti-ragging Helpline against their seniors, of indulging in ragging, sexual abuse and alcohol consumption on NLIU campus.
According to a report published in the Indian Express, Mr. Rajiv Khare, NLIU Bhopal Proctor confirmed the same and stated ‘I received complaints yesterday from the anti-ragging cell. The Proctoral Board has started the probe. We will take stringent and appropriate action against the accused. We have received three complaints so far.’
The students complained that the seniors made the juniors watch porn and one female senior student molested and sexually abused a junior in an inebriated state.
